We love Mid Century, the pieces are made well, and have sleek modern timeless designs. We are always buying great Mid Century decor vintage items. The mid-century era has amazing vintage clothing and jewelry, couches, chairs, furniture and end tables. The era was also fantastic for Italian lighting, art and decor.
Modernist pieces are generally thought of as from the 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s. While the 1970’s are a little late we love that era too. Mid-century vintage clothing with it’s pop art patterns, bright colors a la Twiggy and Pan Am. But if you back up to the 1950’s you’ll find a more “classic” time with dresses representing a lifestyle, whether it be housewife or Hollywood Glamour. Flashy bright colors in jewelry and clothing are favorites. Pieces in excellent condition, good labels wanted! (excellent condition means, no holes, stains or problems that makes something unwearable)
