Buying Estates and Vintage
We buy housefuls, basements, attics and individual items. Estates from the 1980’s and before. Lighting, elegant and retro table lamps, pole lamps, chandelier and fixtures, vintage chairs, mid century couches, glass, pottery, glass, side tables, barware, toys, memorabilia, paper, art, old electronics, silver, crystal. Vintage Promotions L.L.C. has been buying estates directly for 20 years. We consider ourselves, rescuers of items and pieces no one in the family wants to take home.
Not everyone wants to keep everything and we want to find those items a good home and get them hands of people who will love them and care for them. If you keep what is important to you, the rest is just stuff. Our customers love authentic vintage, stories and nostalgia. They appreciate well constructed and designed mid-century pieces, vintage jewelry, elegant vintage decor, art, vinyl and vintage stereo equipment and speakers.
How does it work?
We buy at a wholesale price, we are local and will meet you face to face, pay and take away items on the spot. There are situations you don’t have time, the house sold quickly or it needs to be cleaned up to list to the market quickly. An estate sale or garage sale isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It can be many people who want items for pennies on the dollar If you want to get a few opinions, no problem just call us last. We buy for resale. This means we buy at a price where our time, energy, storage, transportation and efforts make financial sense. To sell items at a retail price, you must have an audience. For the layman, that means getting a booth at a show, renting cases, buying table clothes, containers to transport. An antique mall space is also possible along with listing and selling your own items on Ebay, you can start your own vintage business and pay taxes on your sales etc. You can also have an estate sale. You have options and everyone is different and needs a different result. We pay cash (up to a certain amount) or write a business check. We do ask for identification and require a signature stating you have the authority to offer items for sale.
What sort of antiques and vintage are you looking for?
From the 1890’s to the 1980’s weenjoy all eras and many different categories. Vintage clothing pre 1970’s, designer names in excellent condition, vintage estate jewelry, made in USA, European items, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, retro 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s all the way to Italian Memphis style of the 1980’s.
What don’t you you buy?
We don’t buy Hummels, collector plates, Lladros, Precious Moments or most items manufactured to be collectible.
